constant connection failure with network - any suggestions?
Flags for automatic connection and for connection even that ssid is not broadcasted are always chosen. It doesn't matter if I use WEP, WPA2-PSK (TKIP, AES).... You can imagine how annoying can be if you need to set up your wireless few times per day (after each computer start up for example).

At least, that's how it works with the SMC wireless router I'm hanging off. One of the cute things is to enable the Airport menu item, then you can see the signal strength and available networks at a glance. You can set automatic connection on a per-network basis, which is also quite neat.
